Mallorca holidays proving popular from London Luton
Mallorca holidays are proving a popular option among people planning to set off on their break from London Luton airport this summer.
The base revealed that Mallorca will be one of the most important sun holiday destinations in its network this year, along with the other Balearic hotspot of Menorca.
People planning Mallorca villa holidays can catch flights to Palma from Luton, as well as several other airports, and head to popular destinations such as Felanitx and Pollensa to enjoy some time in the sun.
The London base identified a number of destinations that it expects to prove popular this summer, including Alicante, which is the main gateway used by people taking Costa Blanca villa breaks.
Bodrum and Dalaman in Turkey are also set to see a high number of British visitors flying from Luton, along with Larnaca and Paphos in Cyprus.
Simon Harley, the airport's airline development manager, said: "With nearly 100 destinations on offer, our passengers have a great deal of choice whether they are looking for sun or a city break, perfect for that much needed summer getaway."
