Mallorca holidays on the cards for Brits this summer?

Conducted by Mondial Assistance, the survey suggested that Spain is the most popular European destination for those planning to fly off for their annual break this summer - with some Brits potentially booking a Mallorca villa holiday.

Spain was in fact found to be the top choice for holidaymakers of most nationalities, with travellers from the likes of Germany, Ireland, the Netherlands and Switzerland putting the nation in first place.

Indeed, Spain was so popular that 29.2 per cent of the Spanish themselves said they planned to stay in the country for their summer holiday.

According to Scotland on Sunday, a Mallorca holiday could be perfect for those seeking a laidback break with little activity and plenty of sunshine.
