Mallorca holidays made easier to Oxfordshire citizens
Holidaymakers in Oxfordshire hoping to jet off to a Mallorca villa this year will be able to do so with more ease now.
That is because a joint effort by Oxford Airport and the Great Experience Travel Group will see a 50-seater aircraft flying once a week from the travel hub to the Spanish destination, the Oxford Mail reported.
Flights will take place between mid-June and the end of September initially, with prices set to begin at around £395 return per person.
James Dillon-Godfray, Oxford Airport's business development manager, was "thrilled" to be joining forces with the Great Experience Travel Group to offer the service to customers.
He noted: "We are certain it will be very popular and the feedback from suppliers in Mallorca has been terrific."
People who take up the option to book a villa in Mallorca have recently been told by journalist and author Anna Nicholas that the location offers a "fantastically wide range of cuisine".
