Mallorca holidays "home from home" for actor
The thespian, who has appeared in TV shows such as Waterloo Road, Midsomer Murders and New Tricks, wrote in the Times that his family used to go away regularly on Mallorca holidays.
Staying with the poet Robert Graves, who was Glover's father's godfather, they explored the "tiny, rustic, hillside village" of Deya.
"It was a home from home for me," he explained.
Famous as the author of works such as the World War One memoir Goodbye to All That, Graves emigrated to Mallorca in the 1920s with his partner Laura Riding.
He is buried in a cemetery in the small village, which tourists on Mallorca holidays can visit.
Meanwhile, the Scotsman recently named Alcudia as a ideal Mallorca holiday destination, pointing to its "peace and sophistication".
A large waterpark in the area could be perfect for families with children, the newspaper suggested.
