Mallorca holidays 'are top choice of flight buyers'
People who have been busy using one airline's current sale to snap up seats on flights have been booking travel for holidays in Mallorca more than any other destination.
Indeed, Monarch says it is the Spanish island and Tenerife that are comfortably the favoured choices of its customers.
Hugh Morgan, managing director at the carrier, explains: "The increased demand that we are seeing this year is phenomenal and proof that the Brits' love affair with all things Spanish continue."
He adds the company has seen bookings overall soar by 51 per cent during its Biggest Ever Sale period.
With the deal running until January 31st, tourists may be shrewd to snap up their seats on flights to holidays in Mallorca and Tenerife now.
The Daily Telegraph recently named exploring Mallorca as one of its top ten things to do in Spain this year.
