Mallorca holidays are 'as popular as ever'
An increasing number of holiday makers are choosing to take autumn and winter breaks on the island of Mallorca, it has been suggested.
According to the Mallorca Daily Bulletin, more and more people are visiting the island during October and November, with visitors keen to make the most of the island's cultural attractions and fantastic beaches during the quieter months.
Figures from the Mallorca Hoteliers Association show that occupancy rates for the month of November have increased by 20 per cent over the last five years, suggesting that the island is still popular with British holiday makers.
Boasting 550 kilometres of spectacular coastline, excellent tourist facilities and top-class attractions, the island has long been a firm favourite with Britons.
Some of Mallorca's most notable tourist attractions include the 14th century Bellver Castle, with its unique circular design and Palma's Sa Seu Cathedral, which has a history dating back to 1306.
