Golf lovers will be drawn to Mallorca in October for the fourth Mallorca Classic golf tournament, hosted by Pula Golf Club.
On the north-east of the island, holidaymakers will get a chance of seeing some of the world's top pro and amateur talent battle it out for a two million euro prize fund and a victory on the PGA European Tour.
The course was founded in 1995 and six holes were re-designed in 2004 by Spanish golfing legend, Jose Maria Olazabal allowing the course to host major tournaments.
But those not looking for a golfing holiday can find the nearby resorts of C'an Picafort rich in entertainment.
The town of Santa Margalida boasts the largest concentration of archaeological sites in the whole of Mallorca.
There are now about 150 recognised sites most of which date back from pre-Roman times and the most intriguing being the Cemetery of the Phoenicians.
The site is near to the beach making it a perfect afternoon excursion for holidaymakers looking for some cultural activity.
There are over 100 underground tombs to see, all of which have been excavated into the rock and were used from the Iron Age until the Roman Times.
A trip to Mallorca offers something for all the family, whether its a golfing holiday or an afternoon excursion to an archaeological site.
