Is November 20th the best date to book a winter break?

Families who are searching for some winter sun, perhaps by booking into Mallorca villas, may want to choose November 20th as the date to fly abroad.

According to travel search website KAYAK, taking international flights on this day represents an eight per cent cheaper rate than any other time throughout the month.

Furthermore, snapping up a getaway to depart on November 20th also allows people to save 19 per cent on the cost of if they were to book up their holiday during the first two weeks of December.

However, Annie Wilson, the UK managing director for KAYAK, was keen to point out: "Christmas can be a stressful time, which is why some people would rather buy in advance than be sure they have the best deal. If this is you, buy when you want and instead concentrate on enjoying the festivities!"

People heading to villas in Mallorca in the coming months will be able to explore Santueri Castle, which is located on the south of the Spanish island and is set to open to the public for the first time in over ten years, See Mallorca reports.
