Improvements coming to Mallorca's marine facilities?
People seeking out villas in Mallorca may soon be able to relax around more elaborate marine scenes whilst in the destination.
This is after Balearic president, Jose Ramon Bauza, and minister for tourism, Carlos Delgado, announced that they would like to look into improvements and extension projects regarding the holiday hotspot's marine spaces.
See Mallorca reported how the duo underlined their plans as they met with members of the yachting association, revealing that work would only be carried out if the enhancements were respectful to the environment.
Both Mr Bauza and Mr Delgado were also keen to point out that the yachting community is important to the Balearic Islands, as well as vital to the region's economic recovery.
The announcements were praised by the Balearic Association of Yacht Clubs, with its president Miquel Suner noting that local marines represent non-profit making organisations which provide facilities to thousands of people in the area.
Families taking up a stay in Mallorca villas may also be interested to hear that Santueri Castle is to once again open its doors to the public, following redevelopment work.
