The number of people using the autumn to take a holiday in Mallorca and similar destinations is on the rise.
Auto Europe reports a growing amount of bookings have been made for its vehicles around the continent, but particular on island destinations.
It notes Mallorca as one of the top places to take a break at the current time, with access to a hire car perhaps the best way to explore the resort.
The firm suggests one of the reasons behind the Spanish island's popularity is the fact it is so easy to book, with flights and a villa in Mallorca not hard to come by.
A spokesperson for Auto Europe adds using a car has been identified as the preferable way to explore holiday destinations as people realise a top-quality break is only a few clicks away online.
Mallorca was recently named as the tenth-most searched holiday spot by Experian, which conducted research into the places people were looking to fly to.
