Exploring Mallorca 'is a bargain holiday option'
Holiday makers may find staying in a villa in Mallorca enables them to have a break that is both enjoyable and kind on their wallets.
The Daily Telegraph, compiling a list of reasons to visit Spain in 2011, notes the island is budget-friendly and easy to travel around.
Indeed, it recommends taking advantage of good local bus and train services to get out and see plenty of the landmass.
The publication says boarding transport destined for Soller is a wise move, as the town is home to beautiful stone buildings and plenty of history.
It goes on to suggest picking up a walking trail from Soller, which heads along the coast through trendy and beautiful villages such as Deia, while the bus remains an option for those who do not fancy the stroll.
SeeMallorca.com recently advised people to visit the island's museums while on holiday in Mallorca – an activity that attracted 4.6 per cent more individuals in 2010 compared with the previous year.
