Explore the CaixaForum on a Mallorca villa holiday

People hoping to absorb some culture as well as sun during a Mallorca villa holiday this year can head to Palma to visit the CaixaForum.

The institute hosts various displays and exhibitions throughout the year, such as the current show Women: A Mirror of Culture.

A collection of 135 objects from different cultures and communities all over the world have been assembled for the exhibition, which examines and celebrates the role of women throughout history.

Holiday makers staying in Mallorca villas can visit the CaixaForum to learn more about societies in Africa, Asia and America from both a historical and contemporary perspective.

A number of different themes are explored, including the importance of family and the figure of the female deity in different religions.

People enjoying Mallorca villa holidays can see the exhibition until July 25th.

The CaixaForum, which is one of many cultural institutes in Palma, is located on Plaza de Weyler in the heart of Mallorca's capital city.
