Explore a night-time market on a Mallorca villa holiday
Travellers planning a Mallorca villa holiday this year can enjoy a memorable experience in the island's capital city following the recent opening of a night-time market.
The traditional artisan marketplace at Passeig Sagrera opened for the summer on June 17th and will continue to welcome visitors until the end of October, according to MyMallorcaInfo.com.
Holiday makers staying in Mallorca villas can visit the location between 19:00 and midnight to browse through a variety of products being sold by local artists and craftsmen, many of which would make ideal gifts and souvenirs.
The market is based in front of the old merchants' meeting place at La Llonja and offers the opportunity for visitors to browse through some unique handcrafted items while enjoying a cool Palma evening.
People hoping to pick up some mementos to remember their Mallorca holiday by will find daily street markets in several locations around the island, such as Santa Maria del Cami, Sa Pobla and Sineu.
Various products are sold at the fairs, from fresh foods and clothing to pottery and jewellery.
