Enter the House of Katmandu on a Mallorca holiday

Families planning Mallorca villa holidays could add the House of Katmandu to their list of attractions to visit.

This unique interactive experience was opened just two years ago and takes visitors on a journey through a virtual reality world.

Set in an upside down Tibetan-style mansion, the attraction features a series of rooms that tell the story of Kilgore Goode and his quest to find the red jewel.

Along the way, he meets a host of colourful characters, including an ancient monk, a mysterious Sherpa and a mermaid princess.

Visitors will pass through the Library of Illusions, the Genetics Lab, the Chamber of Pain and the Ice Cave, where rare artefacts and stunning visual displays await them.

After their visit, guests can chill out in the Timbuktu Bar and Grill where they can enjoy food with an American flavour. They can also pick up some souvenirs in the Bazaar Gift Shop.

Those renting Mallorca villas in Alcudia will be able to travel to by car Magaluf to visit the House of Katmandu.

Alcudia itself also has a lot to offer for families, including a water park and plenty of shops and restaurants.
