Enjoy some live music on a Mallorca villa holiday
Music fans planning a Mallorca villa holiday this summer might be interested in arranging a trip to Palma to see some live concerts.
A number of events are set to take place at Palma Arena, a venue that has already played host to Franz Ferdinand, Joan Manuel Serrat and Alejandro Sanz this year.
On July 17th the arena will host Festival Retropop, which will feature performances by a number of artists who enjoyed success in Spain in the 1980s and 90s.
Mallorca villa guests will be able to get a flavour of Spanish music by seeing shows by the likes of Jaime Urrutia, Tennesse, La Frontera and Amistades Peligrosas.
Madrid-based musician Joaquin Sabina will visit Palma Arena on August 10th to showcase material from his new album Vinagre y Rosas.
The gig is part of a national tour that will also include concerts in Valencia, Barcelona, Alicante and other cities.
People with a passion for classical music might be interested in visiting Deia during a Mallorca villa holiday this year to see one of several orchestral concerts that will be taking place in the town as part of an international festival.
