El Corte Ingles opens five new stores in Mallorca airport
Brits who are flying out to villas in Mallorca this summer will now have more chances to splash the cash upon arrival to the island.
That is because well-known Spanish department chain El Corte Ingles will have five new shops around the Son Sant Joan airport.
Covering a total of 1,800 square metres, four of the retail stores are already open for customers to browse around in, while the final one is to launch this week.
Following this, an official inauguration will be held at the location on Friday (July 22nd), to celebrate the new openings.
Brits will have plenty of time to shop in each of these stores, as the Terminal C outlets are open each day from 07:00 to 21:00 local time, with items on sale including souvenirs, cosmetics and fashion garments.
Of course, there is much more to see than just the airport when in Mallorca villas, with a TravelBite.co.uk writer recently recommending Magalluf or Palma Nova for "a lively holiday" experience.
