Drach Caves: Mallorca
Classical music enthusiasts will no doubt have experienced the delights of Caballero and Chopin, but only in Mallorca could they experience the music in such unique surroundings.
The Drach caves in Porto Cristo provide the stunning natural setting for some extraordinary classical music concerts.
Stretching a length of 2,400 metres and sinking to depths of 25 metres, the Drach caves are not just a stunning venue but a geological haven.
The Martel Lake is located inside the caves and is known to be one of the biggest subterranean lakes in the world.
Lights illuminate the caves and after holidaymakers have finished taking in the concert a trip across the lake by boat is a must.
Moving further down the coast will lead you to arrive at Cala d'Or which boasts a magnificent marina capable of mooring over 500 boats.
For holidaymakers looking for more adventure, bikes can be hired from the area to take you through the gardens of the valley of S'Horta.
