Cycling fans encouraged to book villas in Mallorca
Brits who like to keep their fitness up while overseas may want to head to Mallorca villas over the spring.
See Mallorca reported that this is the season when the Spanish island welcomes over 90,000 road cyclists to its shores.
Within this time, sporting tourists will be able to "enjoy the challenging routes and the countryside during the off-peak season", according to the news source's writer Nicola Henderson.
Brits who head along will not be alone in their nationality, with 30 per cent of cyclists set to be from this country, with many staying in villas in Mallorca resorts like Pollenca and Alcudia.
Ms Henderson added: "Cycling is one of the areas that the government wishes to promote to encourage more visitors in the low season."
Those heading to Mallorca between the dates of April 24th and May 2nd will also be able to enjoy the sights of the 27th Palma International Boat Show, with many craft sure to be on show.
