Culture and fine art on show in Mallorca
The Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation aims to preserve, exhibit and publicise Josep Coll Bardolet's private collection as well as promote Fine Arts in general.
Josep Coll Bardolet was captivated by the island's stunning scenery including the beaches and the countryside that he painted.
He wanted visitors and locals to see the way he viewed the island and left his art collection so that everyone could enjoy his work.
It is not surprising that Mallorca has been a setting from which many artists take their inspiration.
The beautiful beaches combine with two mountainous regions to provide versatile landscapes that not only suit artists but provide great walking routes for holiday makers.
Holiday makers who visit the island will have plenty to do in the new holiday season when events such as the classic car rally take place.
