Classic cars descend upon Mallorca

For motor lovers or simply those who are looking for interesting activity while on holiday, this event could give people the perfect opportunity to relax with a drink in the sun and enjoy some racing.

More than 60 classic cars follow a 600km route which takes in a scenic coastal section where families may like to sit with a picnic and enjoy the warm sea breeze as they watch.

Prizes are awarded to the race winners as well as the most beautiful cars in an event which celebrates classic design and technical perfection.

The resort of Cala d'or may offer families somewhere to stay before they head down to the races and it is located near several beaches and coves to entertain the children on one of Mallorca's sun-soaked island days.
