One of the stars who will be packing his passport for the inaugural Son Gual Mallorca Senior Open is Italy's most decorated golfer Constantino Rocca.
The competition will take place between May 8th and May 10th.
Mallorca's brand spanking new tournament will be held at Palma's Son Gual Golf, which is reportedly one of the newest and most desirable courses on the island.
"Mallorca's finest golf address is certain to provide exemplary playing conditions for Europe's best senior professionals during the 300,000 euros event, which has a first prize of 45,000 euros," organisers claim.
The chic resort of Cala d'or could be ideal for those who love golf, while it is around an hour away from Palma - so a day trip to take in the Son Gual Mallorca Senior Open could be on the agenda for those renting a villa here.
