Check out the Palma Boat Show on a Mallorca villa holiday
People looking forward to Mallorca villa holidays this spring might be interested in paying a visit to Palma to attend a popular annual event.
The 27th International Palma Boat Show will be held in the Moll Vell area of the port from April 24th to May 2nd.
Sailing enthusiasts will find all sorts of shows and exhibits to interest them at the show, with everything from large motorboats and small recreational vessels to canoes and kayaks set to go on display.
There will also be an area showcasing equipment and accessories for people who are interested in watersports and related leisure activities.
This year's International Palma Boat Show will be bigger than the 2009 outing, covering some 45,000 square metres on the water and 30,000 square metres on land.
Holiday makers who visit Palma during a Mallorca villa break can see some of the city's famous attractions and landmarks, such as the cathedral and Bellver Castle.
The island also boasts a number of coastal resorts, the most popular of which include Alcudia, Pollensa and Felanitx.
