Check out the Natural Science Museum on a Mallorca villa holiday
Holiday makers planning to visit some museums during a Mallorca villa break this year can head to the scenic town of Soller to see one of its most popular attractions.
The Natural Science Museum and Botanical Garden has been open since 1985 and is home to a range of valuable documents and items, according to the Balearic Islands tourist board.
These include the bibliographic collection of Guillem Colom, a famous geologist who was born in Soller.
Holiday makers staying in Mallorca villas can head to the Botanical Garden to see a display of native plants from a number of Mediterranean islands, including Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, Malta and Crete.
The showcase also features several examples of flora from the Canary Islands, which have a similar ecosystem to destinations in the Mediterranean.
Other popular attractions for travellers to visit during a Mallorca villa holiday include the Marti Vicenc Museum in Pollensa, the Father Juniper Serra Museum and Birthplace in Petra and the Coll Bardolet Cultural Foundation in Valldemossa.
