Brits to receive more encouragement to visit Mallorca villas
There is set to be more focus placed on encouraging holiday makers to book up stays in Mallorca villas in the months ahead.
Such work is being detailed as a result of the formation of the new 365 Tourism Foundation in the Spanish island's city of Palma.
The organisation was officially revealed on Monday (January 16th) and has the key intention of promoting the capital of Mallorca as an attractive year-round holiday destination.
In order to boost Palma's appeal to people snapping up villas in Mallorca, the 365 Tourism Foundation is preparing to get to work on enhancing a host of attractions around the resort, as well as make the area more diverse and appealing.
Mateus Isern, the mayor of Palma, looked over the formation of the organisation at Bellver Castle, before noting that he believes the institute will also help the city's economy.
Recently, See Mallorca reported that the number of tourists passing through Palma de Mallorca's Son Sant Joan airport was up 7.6 per cent in 2011 when compared to the previous year's figures.
