Botanicactus is located in the dry plains of southern Mallorca in Ses Salines, in the province of San Jordi.
The area has been transformed from a dry area of fields and into a large botanical garden known as Botanicactus.
The gardens cover a large distance and a lake covering 10,000 square metres can be found in the middle, the designers also included man-made hills to protect the park from winds.
The gardens are separated into three parts for holidaymakers to explore, the Mallorcan garden, the cactus garden, and the humid gardens.
Containing lemon and olive trees, the Mallorcan gardens cover a surface of 25,000 square metres and give holidaymakers a chance to experience some of the colours and smells that are traditional to the Mallorcan countryside.
A desert of 40,000 square metres houses the cactus garden, and there is a selection of 10,000 different plants to admire, some of which are over 300 years old.
The humid gardens cover an even larger distance of 50,000 square metres, with large lawns and a range of palm tress it’s the ideal place for holidaymakers to take a relaxing break from the villa.
