Book a Mallorca villa to visit celebrity hotspots

Holiday makers staying in Mallorca villas this summer will be in with a chance of spotting some famous faces during their break.

Cheapflights included the Balearic island in a list of the top ten celebrity beach hotspots, describing it as a "no-brainer" for seeing stars on their holidays.

Hollywood A-listers Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas own a property on Mallorca, while various athletes and pop singers have also visited the destination.

People looking forward to some rest and relaxation during a Mallorca villa holiday this summer can visit beaches on the east and north coast, which are among the best on the island, according to Cheapflights.

The flight search engine also encouraged visitors to take a Vespa tour through the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range and see some of Mallorca's natural sights, which range from olive groves to pine forests.

Another option for celebrity spotters is to take a south of France holiday and visit the glamorous Cote d'Azur town of Saint-Tropez, which in the past has hosted parties attended by hip hop star P Diddy and also welcomed Jack Nicholson and Lara Flynn Boyle.
