Book a Mallorca holiday early in the season
Those who want to enjoy a Mallorca holiday without the tourist crowds should consider travelling earlier in the season.
According to ChronicleLive, visiting the island early in the summer gives families the chance to take in its fantastic scenery and benefit from cheap prices.
It said Mallorca has plenty of sandy beaches as well as stunning countryside, which attract holiday makers year in year out.
The early summer is the best time to explore the island on foot, it stated, as the weather is warm but not too hot.
An atmosphere of relaxation and seclusion can be enjoyed by walkers in Mallorca, who can wander for miles without meeting a single soul.
"There are numerous tracks to follow, many laid years ago by monks seeking isolation and places of silence for prayer," the newspaper pointed out.
Those who prefer to be less energetic on their Mallorca holiday can see much of the scenery by car or by bus, as the inland roads are easy to navigate.
Mallorca villas in Sa Pobla could be a great choice for keen walkers, as the town is set inland in the countryside, but is also just a short drive from the coast.
