People thinking of taking a holiday in Mallorca this winter should go ahead with their plans, advises one tourism expert.
Carmen Hernandez Gomez, market analyst at the Spanish Tourism Office, says it is a "great moment" to enjoy some time in the Balearic Islands.
"With direct flights from London, Manchester and other airports the Balearics are the perfect spot for a short break," she explains.
Mallorca may be considered by many seasoned travellers to be the region's premier spot, offering a range of beautiful, sandy beaches as well as an intriguing history.
And the best news of all is perhaps that, in Ms Gomez's opinion, flights to Mallorca and the other Balearic Islands can be secured for as little as £30 return in November.
Some Britons looking to book a holiday in Mallorca may also be pleased to learn of research by trivago, which recently announced the average price of accommodation in the Balearics has fallen.
