Art is another side to Mallorca
Many art exhibitions take place all over Mallorca and most focus on the island itself and how it has been portrayed by artists.
But there is also variety to the displays on the island with Basque artist Chillida one of the modern exhibitionists to have put on a show.
His exhibition depicts his work from 1980 until 2000 and use themes of stone, metal, concrete and terra-cotta.
Aside from seeing some of the island's art work, holiday makers can enjoy a trip to one of the many beaches.
The countryside also provides the opportunity for keen walkers or cyclists to see some of the terrain that has inspired many artists over the years.
Juan Miro is another famous artist depicted across the island and holiday makers can visit a permanent exhibition of his in Palma.
