Archaeological Park: Mallorca
The park, which covers 35 hectares, is located in the province of Calvia and is a great place for holidaymakers interested in experiencing some of the culture of the islands to take a day-trip.
Those looking for a walking holiday will also be able to enjoy the scenery which offers a good opportunity for active holidaymakers to leave the villa and experience some of the hiking routes around the area.
Recently the city council and the Balearic government have adapted the park to allow it accommodate visitors and there are many architectural elements of ethnological interest for visitors to explore, as well as the flora around the area.
The archaeological sites run from 400 BC through to 1229 when King James I disembarked on a conquest in this area, according to illesbalears.es.
