Annual gastronomy fair returns to Alcudia
The bustling resort of Alcudia is preparing itself for its annual Cuttlefish Fair, which will take place between April 4th and April 5th, the island's Daily Bulletin has reported.
According to the news provider, more than 30 restaurants and cafes have put their names down for the event, which runs concurrently with the annual boat fair.
Eaten across the Mediterranean, cuttlefish is a delicacy that holiday makers heading for Mallorca during the beginning of April can dine on and see what all the fuss is about.
Alcudia could be ideal for those on a family villa holiday as it has a bustling marina and a long sandy beach that is perfect for youngsters as the sand gently shelves into the sea.
The more active can rent pedaloes and visit waterparks, while those who prefer a more sedate vacation can stroll around the immaculate medieval walled city of Alcudia or relax by their private pool.
