Holiday makers who are booking last minute trips to Lanzarote villas will be able to take in a special music event if they arrive on the Canary Island by this weekend.
The popular getaway destination will be hosting a Timple Concert on Sunday (September 25th) at the Teguise venue of Casa Museo del Timple.
Beginning at 11:30 local time, the event looks to honour the miniature guitar which has its history rooted in the Canary Islands.
Often compared to a ukulele, the instrument has long been used to play the traditional folklore music of the archipelago.
To gain an insight into the appeal of the Timple, those taking trips to villas in Lanzarote who head along to the concert will be able to listen to performances by such artists as Josele del Pino, Alexis Lemes and Gabriel Garcia.
Brits who visit Teguise during their stay in the Canary Island hot spot will also be able to take in a host of eye-catching palaces around the region, as well as find themselves within walking distance of a relaxing coastline.
