Why art lovers should head to Teguise while in Lanzarote villas
Holiday makers with a keen eye for unique artistic designs may want to check out a new exhibition while staying in Lanzarote villas.
Light and Iron is a joint event that has been put together by French sculptor Mick Gonnel and photographer Jacek Przybylowski, from Poland.
The pair's work can be witnessed in detail at the Convent of Santo Domingo in the Lanzarote resort of Teguise until September 4th.
While at the exhibition, Brits will be able to marvel at how Mr Gonnel has used pieces of scrap metal to create unique sculpture designs.
Meanwhile, some of the snaps taken by Mr Przybylowski cover themes such as transformations and the faces of jazz, each of which are sure to interest fans of art.
People booking up villas in Lanzarote may also be interested to hear that the Light and Iron event is free to attend.
Another sight on the popular Canary Island that Brits may want to head along to is the viewing spot of Mirador del Rio, which now offers guests the chance to learn about the venue with the aid of audio guides.
