Visit Museo Agricola El Patio while on a Lanzarote holiday
Anyone visiting Lanzarote on holiday can learn plenty about the island's rich history by visiting the Museo Agricola El Patio.
The site is one of several recently highlighted by the Telegraph in an article on the Canary island.
Museo Agricola El Patio is a recreation of traditional life as it would have been lived by the island's artisans hundreds of years ago.
"Complete with animals, windmill, workshops, chapel and wine press, the overall impression may be idealised, but it is also highly informative," said the newspaper.
It also recommended trips to the Cueva de Los Verdes, a series of colourful caverns, and the Timanfaya National Park, which surrounds a volcano and its lava sea.
Beyond its amazing geology and natural scenery, the island of Lanzarote promises an assortment of sandy beaches, high-quality restaurants and family-orientated activities.
Lanzarote holiday makers can explore its dramatic lava fields during their days before relaxing in the evenings for some al fresco dining or a drink at one of the island's trendy bars.
