Unique art exhibition to open in Lanzarote

Art lovers should not miss out on the chance to witness an innovative exhibition which can be attended by booking up Lanzarote villas from this weekend.

The Mobile Architecture event will take place in Charco de San Gines, Arrecife, and focuses on the relationship that people have with public spaces.

Set up by Brazilian designer Marlon de Azambuja, those who seek out the exhibition will be able to explore normal areas in a new light.

That is because Azambuja has brought together materials like plastic, lighting and metal and splashed them in bold colour schemes.

His design choices aim to alter how people look at external spaces, with one exhibit showing a building which looks to be defying both gravity and logic.

Those staying in villas in Lanzarote can witness the free exhibition until February 2012, with opening times available from Monday until Saturday each week.

People taking last-minute flights to the popular Canary Island may also want to note that the 3rd Saborea Lanzarote Food and Wine Festival is taking place in Teguise this weekend.
