Those staying in Lanzarote villas told of Jazz Canaries line-up

Music fans who are hoping to keep on rocking while overseas have been urged to check out villas in Lanzarote.

The popular Canary Island will have a host of entertaining names on hand so that its leg of the Jazz Canaries festival is one to catch.

Starting on July 1st, the event showcases a selection of talented music artists from African nations, including the catchy sounds of Fatoumata Diawara.

Hailing from the Ivory Coast, Ms Diawara has impressed those in the music industry through her debut EP, Kanou.

The musician has hints of a haunting vocal sound and North African melodies, while an acoustic guitar enhances her singles even further.

Also on hand to bring further delight to those staying in Lanzarote villas for Jazz Canaries are the Naya Band and the Gangbe Brass Band.

This year's edition of Jazz Canaries will be extra special this year, as the festival will be celebrating its 20th anniversary.
