Special offer launched on flights transporting Lanzarote holiday makers
People heading on a holiday in Lanzarote via flights with Ryanair can now benefit from duty-free sales of cigarettes and alcohol.
The airline has announced it will offer the products on four routes from Dublin, including those to Lanzarote and fellow Canary island Tenerife.
With a pack of 200 brand-name cigarettes prices at €35 (£28.85) and one-litre bottles of Smirfnoff vodka, Gordon's gin and Bell's whisky retailing from €12 it could be the ideal opportunity to stock up.
The drinks will complement those already on sale from the in-flight bar on Ryanair journeys.
And such prices could tempt many holiday makers on the way to a villa in Lanzarote to invest in alcoholic beverages and tobacco treats to be enjoyed during their time on the island.
Ryanair offers more than 1,100 routes across 26 different countries and expects to serve some 73.5 million passengers in the current financial year.
