Brits planning on booking some Lanzarote villas should look to do so in July if they are music fans.
That is because the destination is one of three in the Canary Islands to be hosting the Heineken Jazz Festival throughout the summer month.
Furthermore, the event is set to be extra special in 2011, seeing as though it will be celebrating its 20th anniversary.
First taking place in the sole destination of Gran Canaria in 1992, the festival was seen as a project featuring musicians from across the loved islands.
Now, the event brings together thousands of spectators, as they seek to see a host of well-known names in the industry.
These have in the past included Carlos Sanchez, Santi Roque and the Alabama Dixieland Jazz Band, who are located within the Canary Islands, as well as some worldwide hit names.
Last year's events saw those taking up villas in the Canaries experience the live sounds of Cuban pianist Gonzalo Rubalca, complete with "his masterly surprising piano technique", according to the festival organisers.
