Playa Blanca 'an ideal stay when in Lanzarote villas'

Holiday makers who have this year opted to stay in Lanzarote villas during their annual getaway have been told of the reasons why they should explore Playa Blanca.

A writer at TravelBite.co.uk acknowledged that the resort is home to a "particularly pleasant beach" within the Canary Island.

Located on the south coast of Lanzarote, Playa Blanca's coastline is also appealing thanks to its three sheltered bays, which offer something different from other seafronts.

The expert added: "Playa Blanca was a quiet fishing village until recent years and as such is not yet as popular as some of the other resorts on the island, meaning it's quieter and perfect for a relaxing break."

Another place to explore while Brits stay in villas in Lanzarote is Teguise Market, which has undergone some changes over the past month.

People who visit the attraction to on Sundays will now be treated to tunes from mobile Canarian musicians, as well as an entertaining bird and snake show from midday.
