Playa Blanca Villas sit moments away from "distinctive" beaches

Quiet, family-friendly beaches all boasting "distinctive characteristics" await those heading to the Lanzarote to stay in a villa in Playa Blanca.

The resort was described as the "ideal" location for families looking to relax by iWantSun.co.uk, thanks to its "picture-perfect" shoreline.

"Playa Blanca is actually made up of two separate coves - Playa Dorada and Playa Flamingo. Both of these are excellent for children and relatively sheltered, so they can swim about in the shallows to their hearts' content," the website explained.

Heading away from the beach, Playa Blanca's main promenade was said to be filled with a selection of cafes and restaurant, many of which have local seafood dishes on their menu.

The marina is also a great location for adults looking for a little 'me' time away from the children. The website recommended simply ordering a drink from one of the many cafes and simply watching the world go by.

Those staying in Playa Blanca Villas are also ideally located for visiting a number of Lanzarote's other attractions, including Timanfaya National Park and El Golfo, known as the green lagoon.
