Pair of walking routes being enhanced around Lanzarote villas
Holiday makers who enjoy walking adventures when abroad may want to check out villas in Lanzarote for fresh adventures.
That is because the government of the Canary Island hot spot has agreed a deal with the Department for the Sustainable Development of Rural Areas so that a project can get underway to enhance a pair of trekking routes.
Known simply as GR 131 and GR 135, the pair of walking paths will be improved with such features as the inclusion of viewing points or miradors, as well as fresh stopping points.
Both of the routes are sure to appeal to families staying in Lanzarote villas, as each are shaped along the north-south axel of the destination and form around the coastal perimeter.
People who opt to enjoy some of their summer on this particular Canary Island should be sure to pick up a Lanzarote Guidebook to aid them on their choices on where to venture to.
The spring issue packs in a host of locations that Brits should seek out for food and drink, while local maps are provided for a range of the destination's resorts.
