New way to buy tickets for Lanzarote's tourist venues

Brits will now be able to purchase tickets for a couple of Lanzarote's tourist attractions before arriving in holiday villas on the island.

Direct online purchases can now be processed for those hoping to witness the events on offer at Jameos del Agua and the Timanfaya National Park when on their getaway.

Tickets can be bought from centrosturisticos.com, which had recently only provided information and prices for attractions at the venues to those who logged onto the site.

At the moment, the ticket purchasing system in only transcribed in Spanish, but more languages, including English, are expected to be made available soon.

Couples journeying to villas in Lanzarote may also be interested to seek out some of the classical music performances which are taking place on the island until September.

Jazz singers Antonio Auyanet and Mario Rivero, plus a concert by New Music are among the highlights coming to the destination during that time.
