Lanzarote villas can be enjoyed with new flights
Planning a stay in a Lanzarote villa may be tricky, with a number of factors to see to in order to ensure the trip goes according to plan.
But the burden of finding and booking flights may just have been taken away from those living in the north of England who fancy some winter sun over the next few months.
That is because Thomson Airways has added a new route between Doncaster-Sheffield Airport and the Spanish island for the upcoming season.
Nick Smillie, aviation sales director at Robin Hood Airport, says: "We are delighted that Thomson are adding to the destinations they serve from Doncaster Sheffield Airport. They really do recognise that people going on holiday want to travel from their local airport."
Return tickets will be available for £169 per person, making a holiday in Lanzarote this winter affordable to many.
Rosie Gilbert, author of a piece on the Made for Mums site, recently said the destination is a place that is perfect for families to spend time together.
