Lanzarote villas: The Only Way Is Essex ladies visit Canary Islands

Those interested in booking up holiday villas in the Canary Islands may be interested to hear that a pair of The Only Way Is Essex beauties have been enjoying the sites in the popular holiday hotspot.

In Gran Canaria, Maria Fowler has been enjoying the sands of the resort, as she took time away after a split with her long-term boyfriend, Formula One driver Adam Khan.

The star took the chance to soak up the rays ahead of the second series of the hit ITV reality show, which returned to UK screens earlier this month.

Meanwhile, over the sea in neighbouring Tenerife, co-star Sam Faiers has been showing tourists the attractions of this Canary Island.

She also jetted out in order to take advantage of the gap between the filming of the first and second series of The Only Way Is Essex.

It seems that the women of the reality show are not the only ones who have visited the Canary Island sites recently.

The Department of Tourism has found that 930,000 chose to visit the destination in February, a 22.4 per cent increase on last year's figures, and could be an indicator on where holiday makers will visit in the warmer months ahead.
