Grab yourself a late deal >Lanzarote villas: Spain proving popular for holidaying Brits
Holiday makers in the UK seem to be attracted to the sights and sounds on offer across Spain, such as around villas in Lanzarote.
This is after Travelmatch revealed that there were a significant number of Brits choosing to spend their 2011 getaway in destinations across the European hot spot.
Among the popular areas sought out by keen holiday makers were Costa del Sol, the Balearic Islands and the treats on offer in the collection of Canary Islands.
Alex Francis, from Travelmatch, commented: "This country is an amazing tourist destination thanks to its wide variety of seaside resorts, and with so many options there is sure to be the perfect spot for every group."
For Brits who are appealed by Spain and are hoping to stay in Lanzarote villas, a TravelBite.co.uk writer has urged a stay in the island's resort of Playa Blanca.
They explained that the location is home to a "particularly pleasant beach", which could be ideal for those looking to top up their tan, while it is also a more peaceful part of Lanzarote.
