Lanzarote villa occupants told of changes to Teguise market

In order to make the Teguise market more appealing, the local council has decided to make some changes to the attraction, those snapping up Lanzarote villas may want to note.

Tourists in Lanzarote visiting the attraction are now treated to a group of mobile Canarian musicians each Sunday, starting from yesterday (May 22nd).

Starting at 11:00 local time, the artists weave their way around the packed crowds of the market, playing some folklore songs of the Canary Islands as they go.

This is only the start of the additions to the Teguise event though, with those booking up villas in Lanzarote and then visiting the resort also being treated to a bird and snake show in the Plaza Canaria at 12:00.

A children's park and donkey rides should also entertain the youngsters, meaning there is fun to be had for all the family.

Meanwhile, Brits still have until a week tomorrow (May 31st) to check out the array of scents present at the Exhibition For Noses, which is taking place at the Centro El Fondeadero in the Lanzarote resort of Puerto del Carmen.
