June reveals positive tourist figures for Lanzarote
People visiting Lanzarote villas are continuing to increase, if statistics by AENA, the Spanish airport authority are anything to go by.
It found that in June, the number of individuals from foreign countries taking trips to the Canary Island hot spot increased by 20.7 per cent, when compared to the same month in 2010.
In fact, the total arrivals to Lanzarote over the whole year of 2011 to date are up by 21.1 per cent when put in comparison to the same period of time the year before.
This rise has been transcribed across the whole of the Canary Islands, with people visiting the archipelago between January and June this year increasing by 24.4 per cent over the 2010 figures.
Lanzarote villas could prove appealing to the fact that they are surrounded by a dazzling array of sights to discover, according to a TravelBite.co.uk writer.
They noted: "There are … a whole host of coastal walks that will lead you to places where you can enjoy the best views on the island or spend a couple of hours relaxing on deserted beaches."
