How the Tube could influence trips to Lanzarote villas
Brits who use the London Underground could now be more tempted to visit villas in Lanzarote, thanks to a new advertising promotion.
The marketing strategy has been launched following a joint effort by the Society for the External Promotion of Lanzarote, the Tourist Board and Monarch Travel Group.
People using the Tube can view the advert in sixteen stations of the transport system, which uses an image of one of La Graciosa's beaches as one of its key selling hooks.
Those who do not use the London Underground will still have access to the promotion if they use taxis in Manchester or mainline trains in the capital, as the advertising campaign is also splashed across these transport systems.
Music fans will surely be in for a treat if they snap up Lanzarote villas this month or next, with a series of classical gigs being put on around the Canary Island hot spot.
