Festive gospel performances to take place around Lanzarote villas

People taking last-minute flights to Lanzarote villas will have the chance to get into the festive spirit in a unique way this year.

The popular Canary Island destination will be hosting a pair of performances by the Atlanta Gospel Choir throughout December.

Families staying in Teguise can catch the show at the Convento de Santa Domingo venue on December 7th.

Two nights later, the Atlanta Gospel Choir will take the short trip to Arrecife to host a performance inside the Teatro Insular.

Both shows form a part of the 6th annual Gospel Canarias Festival, an occasion which has become a pre-Christmas treat for those based around the whole of the Canary Islands.

Art fans staying in villas in Lanzarote should also take time to visit the Mobile Architecture exhibition, which is taking place at the Charco de San Gines, in Arrecife, until February 2012.

Showcasing the unique works of Brazilian designer Marlon de Azambuja, the event will be free to view by holiday makers between Monday and Saturday each week.
