Exhibition For Noses open to those staying in Lanzarote villas

Brits who are taking last-minute trips to Lanzarote villas around the resort of Puerto del Carmen have been told of a new show that has opened there.

Exhibition For Noses is located at the Centro El Fondeadero venue within the old harbour area of the destination.

Opening today (May 19th), holiday makers will have until May 31st to sample the treats on offer at the show, which gives attendees the chance to witness a wealth of appealing fragrances.

The basis behind Exhibition For Noses is to "stimulate the olfactory sense, which often triggers specific memories and feelings", noted the Lanzarote Guidebook.

Some examples of aromas on offer include myrrh, cocoa, lemon, cedar, honey and anise, just to name a few.

Those staying in villas in Lanzarote can head to the venue to sample the smells between 17:00 and 21:00 local time, with no charge for entrance.

Puerto del Carmen offers plenty of other treats for holiday makers too, including six kilometres of sun-kissed beaches and the new Biosfera shopping centre – ideal for buying gifts for those back home.
